Who We Are Hollis Innovations began as Wdwic Networks on January 18, 1999. On December 24, 2007, we changed our name to Hollis Innovations to reflect our innovative ventures. Our sites have been visited by tens of thousands of users in over 80 countries. We have developed a lot of unique content through the years and have seen it delivered to millions by other parties through a variety of mediums, such as the web, in print, and even on television. Much of our focus is on developing web based software. We have spent many years working on a wide variety of ventures involving entertainment, e-commerce, communication, search, and educational applications for our own sites and other organizations through third parties. Our most known asset is Hollis Pictures, formerly Wdwic Pictures, home of original photography that is available in screensavers and as background images. We also license images for commercial use. We also have an e-greeting card site called Hollis Greetings, formerly Wdwic Greetings, which has both e-postcards, from our picture collections, and animated e-greetings, from our original animation division. Our newest web property is Tropical Atlantic. This site is designed for weather hobbyists and professionals looking for hurricane related content in the Atlantic basin. This site generates content for television media. This is our most publicly available project, combining many years of software development for third parties and other web clients. Most of our work over the years has involved web based software that is not available through our own site. We also have a private web services business that is not publicly available. |
